Well, Scott, you should have planned ahead. You should know when the weather turns colder, Peter will be ruminating about oatmeal, triggering cravings for the delightful mush. Last week already I poured some oatmeal from its cylindrical cardboard receptacle into a clear jar with a blue cap (yes, you guessed it... an old Miracle Whip jar) and brought it with me to work. True... I just now looked at it, sitting innocently on the shelf above the microwave, waiting for me to cook it. And I just might. It's up to me. But the point is, IT IS HERE FOR ME. I PLANNED AHEAD.

But damn, I wish I had some raisins.

now i want to mix packets of apple cinnamon and maple brown sugar oatmeal into a delicious concoction of happiness. sadly I am at work, and shake my fist at the injustice of having to delay my oatmeal craving!
