Morning Delight

This morning, I enjoyed a tasty bowl of Golden Crisp cereal.

Golden Love

Why is Golden Crisp so unheralded? Do people have something against the puffed oat? Do people begrudge the sweet honey coating? Why would this be?

As the light, delicious cereal crunched in my mouth, I also began to lament how woefully underappreciated Sugar Bear is. Our nation celebrates dull celebrity mascots like Toucan Sam or Tony the Tiger. Meanwhile, Golden Crisp sports the soulful stylings of Sugar Bear while America shrugs with indifference.

Well, I can’t change the world. I can only change the world in me. And I for one will proclaim my allegiance to Golden Crisp. I will stand beside the sugar-coated puffed oats in the trenches of cereal warfare. And when Sugar Bear is horrifically killed in a hail of machine gun fire, I will jump up out of the rat-infested trenches to drag his disfigured corpse back to receive a proper military burial. I will then throw a grenade into the Turkish machine gun nest that cut him down and smile as they receive swift justice for their crimes against breakfast cereals everywhere.

I’d also like to note that Golden Crisp makes your pee smell funny.

    I think i heard the line “I can’t change the world, but I can change the world in me” somewhere before, but anyway, I “Rejoice” at the theme of your story. I haven’t had sugar puffs since atleast “October”

    Dude you rock. The Sugar Bear is under-rated as hell and has the most character of all! Its like you were reading my mind here. My allegiance lies with the Sugar Bear as well. Good to see im not the only one out there who feels this way..
