The Thirsty Dog
One of the more enjoyable elements of my recent vacation was getting to spend some time with my dog Bailey. Now Bailey, like myself, has more than a few peculiar obsessive tendancies (including his penchant for licking metal). My brother Patrick shared with me a video he shot on his camera of Bailey drinking water out of his dish for a disturbing length of time. He pauses briefly when he hears Patrick laughing, but then resumes his intense consumption. It’s also worth noting that Bailey was already drinking when Patrick entered the cabin, and continued drinking while Patrick got out the camera and got ready to shoot, so Bailey was hurriedly slurping for nearly five minutes. The file is a bit large, but I’m happy to make it available to you all, so that you might also enjoy how pleasantly troubling it is.

I don’t know about you, but I’m starting to feel a little thirsty…

This is the biggest waste of my time ever, you jerk. Thanks for making me wait 5 minutes to watch your stupid dog drink water for 2 minutes. I had more fun getting stitches in my mouth than watching this crap. Actually,…I could have went and took a crap and had a more enjoyable experiance.
Your friend,
Chris (from L.C.)

I’m not sure if it’s more disturbing that the dog consumed that much water, that your brother filmed it, or that I laughed so hard at it…
On a more serious note, your dog might have a bladder infection — that’s what my dog had when she was drinking copious amounts of water…

Maybe your dog was planning on roaming the neighborhood that night and needed plenty of water in order to leave his scent everywhere. Or perhaps he was heading to your room to “relieve” himself directly after this long drink.

Lauren,
If you want to waste an enormous amount of time, try using Windows Media Player. it worked in that program, but not in Winamp (or anything else). Apparently, my last comment was so alienating, that even Peter doesn’t know what to say.
My work here is done. Send me my memebership packet, Peter.

Yeah, sorry I don’t get to respond to comments as often. I only get to check in once or twice a day nowadays. Stupid career change…

That is a thirsty dog.
And your brother needs a zoom lens.
