New Rock TV!
Check out the latest Rock TV, “The Viewmaster”!

For a number of reasons this video took the longest to make of any Rock TV we’ve ever done, and it is easily the craziest concept we ever had (thanks to Kevin for that). The concept also became a way for us to clear the decks of a lot of fun ideas that made us laugh but weren’t big enough for a full video. Early on in editing, it wasn’t coming together andwe felt certain that we had a dud on our hands, but in the end it gelled to become a truly odd, unique video that everybody in the ministry really worked overtime to make happen.
Enjoy!
P.S. This video basically bombed at church.

Loved the bird flu sketches…the leprechaun, the Haiku…nothing else really…sorry guys.

I must say - the sketch format works tremendously. As I told you Peter, it kind of had that fast Monty Python sketch-to-sketch feel to it which I think keeps people very engaged. Adam looking through a viewfinder at all of this was a great concept. You probably won’t be able to do it this way again, but I think the “Rock TV shorts” worked really well. My favorite part was the vinyl siding man… or whatever he was called…

you should still feel guilty about drinking tab.
but as a whole, i thought the video was splendid.

If it bombed half as badly as you said, Peter, the joke at the end may have been overly prophetic. And that Leprechaun really needs to lose some weight.

True genius is seldom appreciated en masse at the Rock.

AMAZING Haiku.

I loved it! But then, I also loved Count Awkward, and I know not too many people were fond of him. Maybe it means I’ve just known Kevin for too long…

Loved the slamming political ads!
The vinyl siding man made me laugh the hardest, though.

Here’s a snippet from the original script of a bit that got cut in editing for being too weird:
JOB INTERVIEW
Voice over: And now, another episode of ‘Take That, Dad’!
Prospective boss: We really like what we see from you. We’d like to offer you $90,000 a year, full benefits, and keys to the company car.
Interviewee: Yes! (points to the sky) Take that, Dad!

It was as if I got up to sing special music for the Rock in German. A hard language to sing in and pronouce correctly (right up there with singing Hebrew). Only German speakers would understand- thus- I think that Seth, Ann and I were the only people I heard laughing in the auditorium. I think everyone else must have been laughing on the inside- er something-…

Obviously, it’s time to retreat to a “How To” video starring Buster Fonz.

Buster Fonz could teach us to celebrate the upcoming Professional Speakers Day on August 7th which is also Jamaica’s Independence Day- Ya Mon!

I particularly enjoyed Leroy being the dog. No one really got into that, but who cares.

“Always include a dancing Leprechaun. Remember, if a Rock TV member thinks it is hilarious…an audience will sit and watch in silence.”
