WWJD Christian Radio
Hot off the editing computer, a brand new Rock TV!
This video was the result of a unique challenge to the writing team. We wanted to create a video that pointedly took on some of the alienating or obnoxious elements of Christian culture while at the same time saying something positive about what’s happening at the Rock. We all felt encouraged by the reception of Revelation 9:11, and wanted to make something similarly incisive, but with a gentler touch.
Having said all that, much credit should be given to Todd for his portrayal of a Christian radio DJ who’s been on the job just a little too long. His delivery and facial expressions really sell the humor and the message of this video. Also, Leroy’s depiction of Rev. Ortzville was amazing to watch in person. It was like everybody held their breath while he was ranting, in awe of his insane intensity.
Enjoy!

I love the underlying, subtle critique that Christian radio doesn’t play “I Could Sing Of Your Love Forever” enough. Brilliant!

Well, we at RockTV feel that, if ever there was a song that should be played over and over, non-stop…”I Could Sing of Your Love Forever” is the one. Followed closely by Tone-Loc’s “Wild Thing.”

I know, we were really subtle about that. Rock TV is all about subtlety.

Loved Todd’s subtle line of “remember to home school”. This has to go on the list of best Rock TVs.
